Getting Started
Visibilitas combines traditional SEO with GEO (Generative Engine Optimization): tracking whether your brand gets cited when people ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini a question. This guide walks through the first few minutes in the product: creating an account, signing in, adding your first project, and understanding what the dashboard shows you once data starts coming in.
Everything in Visibilitas is organized under an organization (the account you and your teammates share) and under that, one or more projects, where each project tracks a single website. The steps below take you from a brand-new account to a project that is actively being crawled and probed.

Creating your account
To create an account, open the sign-up form and fill in your Full name, Email, and a Password. The password field has a show/hide toggle so you can check what you typed, and it must meet a minimum strength requirement: at least 12 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a symbol.
If you were invited to join an existing organization, opening the sign-up link from that invitation changes the form to Accept your invitation, so once you finish creating your account you're attached directly to your team's organization instead of getting a new one. Signing up any other way automatically creates a personal workspace for you, so you land in a working account rather than an empty setup screen.
After you submit the form, you'll see a Check your email confirmation. Visibilitas sends a verification link to the address you registered with; clicking it confirms your email address. If the message doesn't arrive, the confirmation screen has a resend the email option to send a new link. You don't have to wait for verification to start exploring the product: you can sign in and begin working right away, though we recommend confirming your email soon since it's how we reach you about your account.

Signing in
The sign-in form asks for the Email and Password you registered with, with the same show/hide toggle on the password field. A Forgot password? link sits next to the password field if you need to reset it, and a link at the bottom lets you jump to the sign-up form if you don't have an account yet.
If your account has two-factor authentication turned on, submitting a correct email and password reveals a 2FA code field asking for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. You'll need that code (or one of your saved recovery codes) to finish signing in.
As a security measure, repeated incorrect password attempts will temporarily lock the account for a period that gets longer with each additional failed attempt, protecting the account even if someone else is guessing at the password. If the organization you belong to has been disabled, sign-in is blocked with a message to contact support, even with correct credentials.
Once you're signed in successfully, you're taken to your dashboard, unless you followed a link that required signing in first (like an invitation), in which case you're sent back to wherever you were headed.

Creating your first project
A project represents one website you want tracked for both SEO and GEO. Creating your first one launches a short guided wizard rather than a single long form. The first step, Site & brand, asks for the essentials: Primary domain (the root domain Visibilitas will crawl and monitor for brand mentions), a Project name (defaults to a name derived from your domain, but you can rename it), Country and Language (which determine which regional search results and LLM responses you're measured against), and Target markets: a preset of one country, several countries in the same language, or a global sample, with a live preview of exactly which markets will be created. An optional Industry field helps seed relevant AI-query suggestions, and an optional Subdomains to leave out field keeps the crawler off parts of your domain that aren't part of the main site. Every field has a Why? toggle that explains what it feeds into downstream. A usage indicator shows how many projects you've used against your plan's limit before you submit.
Submitting this step immediately creates the project and starts working in the background: a crawl, a Core Web Vitals check, an initial keyword research pass, a backlink import, and your first AI-visibility probe all kick off right away, while you continue through the next two steps of the wizard.
Step two, Your goal, asks you to pick a main objective (generating leads, selling online, growing traffic, getting found in AI answers, or winning local customers) and to describe in one line what your site specifically does. This is what keeps your tracked keywords focused rather than spread thinly across everything a multi-service site might sell.
The last two steps, Review and Finish, let you look over the keywords, competitors, and AI-visibility queries the system found for your site (accepting or dropping any of them, even while the crawl is still filling them in) and see a starting content outline plus a short list of recommended next actions. Nothing in the wizard is mandatory beyond the first two steps: you can skip ahead at any point, and anything you didn't act on shows up later under Take Action.

Your dashboard at a glance
The dashboard is built around AI Visibility (how your brand shows up when people ask ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini about topics related to your business), with the classic SEO numbers included as supporting detail rather than the headline. Before you've added a website, it shows a simple call to action to add your first site, alongside a short explanation of what happens next: crawling your site, probing AI models with relevant questions, and surfacing the gaps between the two.
Once you have at least one project generating data, the top of the dashboard shows an overall AI Citation Score out of 100, averaged across all your projects, along with your average share of voice: how often you're mentioned relative to competitors. Below that, a per-model breakdown shows the percentage of probes in which Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini each mentioned your brand.
Below the score, the Projects, ranked by AI visibility section lists one card per project, sorted by GEO citation score, with the highest-scoring project first. Each card shows the project's domain, its GEO Citation Score and share of voice, a Health score, and the date of the Last crawl, plus an Open project button to drill into the full detail for that site. A project still finishing its initial setup is marked with a pending badge.
Finally, the SEO supporting metrics section lists the more familiar SEO numbers (tracked keywords, average rank, backlinks, and recent crawl activity) as a secondary row beneath the AI-visibility content, useful context rather than the main focus of the page.
